The ideal candidate will be a key technical expert responsible for architecting cloud-based solutions that meet complex business needs, driving technology modernization, and ensuring seamless integration across enterprise systems.Key Responsibilities:1. Cloud Solution Design & Architecture: Design and implement Azure cloud solutions for complex business requirements, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. Analyze existing application architectures and provide migration recommendations following the 6-Rs (Rehost, Replatform, Repurchase, Refactor, Retire, Retain). Define the overall cloud architecture across multiple domains and business areas. Provide technical leadership and strategic direction for cloud-based projects and initiatives.2. Technical Expertise & Implementation: Develop and document cloud application roadmaps, architecture patterns, tooling, and best practices. Conduct technology proof-of-concept (PoC) activities to validate architectural solutions. Hands-on prototyping of new Azure services, vendor products, and technology solutions. Implement ETL patterns for data ingestion, processing, and distribution using Azure Data Factory and pipelines.3. Technology Modernization & Transformation: Lead technology modernization initiatives, including migration to cloud-native architectures and API strategies. Drive continuous improvement to minimize technical debt and enhance the efficiency of architecture processes. Stay updated on industry and technology trends to assess potential impacts and opportunities for the enterprise.4. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Interface with global teams to ensure effective collaboration and successful business deliveries. Provide design-level functional and technical expertise, including best practices for cloud adoption. Participate in defining target state technology architecture and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with IT initiatives.5. Governance & Compliance: Ensure cloud solutions comply with security standards, governance policies, and regulatory requirements. Provide guidance on cloud cost optimization, resource management, and performance monitoring.Essential Skills: Cloud Platform: Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure, including services like Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Data Factory, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), etc. Architecture & Design: Strong background in designing cloud-native architectures, microservices, and API strategies. DevOps & CI/CD: Proficiency in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and infrastructure as code (IaC) using Azure DevOps or similar tools. Data & ETL: Knowledge of ETL patterns, data ingestion, processing, and distribution using Azure services. Security & Compliance: Understanding of cloud security principles, identity management, and compliance frameworks.Desirable Skills: Domain Experience: Experience in Investment Management or Asset Management is highly recommended. Certifications: Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification (preferred). Azure DevOps certification (optional but a plus). Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on technology transformation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.Experience: 46 years of experience in cloud architecture, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure.
