In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing and coordinating the remediation of security findings from penetration tests and other cybersecurity assessments. You will collaborate across various IT departments, providing guidance, tracking remediation efforts, and ensuring the security posture of the organization is continuously improved.Key Responsibilities: Security Analysis & Remediation: Analyze security findings from penetration tests and vulnerability assessments to identify impacted assets. Assign remediation tasks to the appropriate owners and ensure timely resolution. Perform residual risk analysis on findings, providing recommendations for alternative remediation solutions and compensating controls. Collaboration & Support: Provide expert guidance to remediation owners, supporting them in implementing effective security measures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across IT to ensure alignment on security objectives and best practices. Work closely with the ASM team to escalate potential SLA breaches and security risks. Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor and track remediation progress, ensuring compliance with security policies and timelines. Collect, validate, and document remediation evidence to maintain proper records for audits and compliance. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders to communicate security findings and remediation status.Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or equivalent certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP). Experience: 26 years of experience in Cybersecurity or Information Technology, with a focus on security analysis and vulnerability management. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of core cybersecurity principles and best practices. Proficiency in vulnerability management tools and concepts related to penetration testing and security assessments. Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR).Essential Skills: Analytical Thinking: Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail in identifying and addressing security risks. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical teams. Problem-Solving: Ability to assess complex security issues and develop practical solutions. Collaboration: Proficient in working with cross-functional teams, including IT, DevOps, and executive leadership.Desirable Skills: Experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools. Knowledge of cloud security concepts and tools (e.g., AWS, Azure security).
