Write software or solutions based on detailed requirements and system specifications. Update existing software and/or develop new software solutions to address specific needs or solve particular business problems. Drive development activities in accordance with appropriate methodologies and application of a repeatable, systematic, and quantifiable approach to the development process. Coach/mentor software developers and review the software being developed. Work closely with architects and/or data scientists to ensure code alignment with design patterns/frameworks. Architect, develop, and lead junior developers, help with requirement analysis, design, implementing, and testing software solutions. Design and develop application platforms for solving commonly occurring problems in End-of-Line and General Assembly (GA). Required Skills: Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (related field) or equivalent work experience. 7+ years in software development using Java. Proficiency in C, C#, and Python. Experience with SQL databases like PostgreSQL. Experience working with Visual Studio, Azure, and IntelliJ. 7+ years industry experience as an Electrical, Mechanical, or Software Engineer with experience in an agile environment. Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures and algorithm design, and complexity analysis. 5+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and current systems.
