The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of STARLIMS (v10 or higher), experience working in regulated environments (e.g., GxP, ISO, CLIA), and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions to complex laboratory workflows. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, configuration, development, and deployment of STARLIMS modules and custom solutions. Work closely with laboratory stakeholders and business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications. Develop and maintain workflows, forms, reports, dashboards, and interfaces using STARLIMS technologies (VBScript, JavaScript, SQL, HTML5). Integrate STARLIMS with external systems including instruments, ERPs, and data warehouses via APIs, web services, and middleware. Ensure solutions meet compliance requirements including FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP 5, and other relevant standards. Troubleshoot, optimize, and document existing STARLIMS implementations and provide technical support. Mentor junior developers and collaborate with QA and validation teams to ensure robust system delivery. Required Qualifications: Must be U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Must be located in the U.S. 5+ years of hands-on experience with STARLIMS (preferably v10 or higher). Strong proficiency in VBScript, JavaScript, SQL, and HTML5. Proven experience designing and developing custom modules and workflows within STARLIMS. Solid understanding of LIMS concepts and laboratory processes in clinical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing settings. Experience working in validated systems and familiarity with FDA, GMP/GLP, ISO, and other regulatory frameworks. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: Abbott STARLIMS Certified Experience with STARLIMS Mobile or ELN modules. Familiarity with integration tools such as Lab Instrument Middleware, Informatica, or MuleSoft. Knowledge of data visualization tools and custom report generation (Crystal Reports, Power BI, etc.).
