**Role Summary:**

Our clients Connected Technologies Department is seeking a passionate, highly
motivated Network/Telecommunications Engineer to ensure seamless connectivity
and network performance across Dedicated Communication Module (DCM) products.
This role involves strategic planning, troubleshooting, and collaboration with
internal/external teams to meet product launch timelines and enhance end-user
experiences.

**Responsibilities:**

- Troubleshoot network-related issues between DCM and Mobile Network Operators
(MNOs) to ensure compliance with specifications and quality metrics.

- Lead quality testing/validation and resolve technical challenges across
product lifecycle phases (strategic planning, development, launch, and
post-launch validation).

- Analyze logs and E2E call flows to identify root causes of network issues,
focusing on core packet-level troubleshooting beyond physical layer
diagnostics.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, firmware, testing,
manufacturing) to align network capabilities with product requirements and
stakeholder needs.

- Research emerging wireless technologies (4G/5G, NSA/SA, future generations)
and assess their application in vehicular networks to drive innovation.

- Develop and execute test cases, generate comprehensive reports, and present
findings to technical and executive stakeholders.

- Maintain product backlogs, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely project
delivery aligned with launch milestones.

**Ideal Candidates Will Have:**

- **6+ years** of hands-on experience in network analysis, troubleshooting, and
compliance for telematics or automotive systems.

- Expertise in E2E call flows, core packet analysis, and backend system
integration.

- Proficiency with Anritsu equipment and tools like QXDM, QCAT, XCAP, XCAL, and
Wireshark for testing/logging.

- Strong understanding of 3GPP specifications and their application in
vehicular networks.

- Experience working in fast-paced, decision-driven environments with a proven
track record in multi-team collaboration.

**Required Skills/Experience:**

- **MUST** troubleshoot network issues at the core packet level (beyond
physical layer diagnostics).

- In-depth knowledge of IP protocols (IPv4/IPv6), routing, and wireless carrier
technologies (4G/5G, NSA/SA).

- Proficiency in using Anritsu equipment and network simulators for validation.

- Familiarity with 3GPP specifications and ability to analyze their impact on
product features.

**Other Skills:**

- Strong PowerPoint and presentation skills for executive-level reporting.

- Ability to translate technical findings into actionable recommendations for
non-technical stakeholders.

- Experience with telematics/multimedia development and RCA processes.
