We are not considering remote candidates at this time. We are seeking a skilled Java Software Engineer to join a well-respected Software Development company in the Quad Cities area. As a part of this team, you will contribute to a mix of new development projects and existing application maintenance. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications using Java, JSP, Servlets, JavaScript, and MySQL. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions. Optimize legacy code while integrating modern features into new application development. Implement code reviews, debugging, and enhancements to improve system performance. Provide technical support for systems in production environments when necessary. Must Have Skills and Experience: Proven professional experience in Java development. Proficiency in JSP, Servlets, and JavaScript for web application development. Solid knowledge of relational databases, specifically MySQL. Ability to handle both legacy systems and innovate in new software projects. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
