Deploy, manage, and support AWS AppStream 2.0 and Workspaces for application streaming and desktop virtualization. Design and implement AWS Well-Architected Framework (WAFR) to align with best practices. Automate infrastructure management using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible. Security & Compliance: Implement robust security controls, including encryption, access controls, and multi-factor authentication (MFA) for AWS services. Enforce security policies and hardening best practices for Windows 10/11 and Linux (Ubuntu, Red Hat) environments. Identify, diagnose, and resolve vulnerabilities in desktop infrastructures. DevOps & Automation: Manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment and scalability of cloud resources. Implement continuous monitoring solutions (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana) to ensure infrastructure health and performance. Performance & Incident Management: Monitor and optimize the performance of AWS AppStream and Workspaces instances. Lead high-severity incident calls and troubleshoot issues for quick recovery. Escalate and manage issues related to the support of Workspaces and AppStream environments. Technical Support & Documentation: Administer and support Windows and Linux desktop environments, including software installation, patch management, and troubleshooting. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT systems and services. Provide training to users on software usage and IT policies.Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience leading AWS cloud migrations and implementing AWS solutions in multi-account environments. Strong expertise in AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, CloudFormation, etc. Experience with AWS AppStream 2.0, Workspaces, and AWS WAF implementation. Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices, including Docker, ECS, EKS, and serverless architectures. Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation. Solid understanding of security best practices and disaster recovery planning in cloud environments. Experience with Windows 10/11 and Linux (Ubuntu, Red Hat) administration. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.Preferred Skills: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, or similar certifications. Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Docker). Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch. Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.Managerial Competencies: Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage projects and guide technical teams. Ability to lead architectural reviews and navigate ambiguity in complex environments.
