Implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data efficiently. Develop and optimize SQL queries for transactional and analytical databases. Cloud & Data Storage: Work with cloud-based data storage solutions (AWS, Azure) for scalable data management. Design and manage data lakes, data warehouses, and ensure data integrity. Automation & Scripting: Automate repetitive tasks using Bash and Python scripting. Develop automation scripts for data workflows, monitoring, and operational tasks. Monitoring & Incident Management: Utilize monitoring tools like AppDynamics, Splunk, and Moogsoft to ensure system health and performance. Handle incident management using tools like ServiceNow and Remedy. DevOps & CI/CD: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes. Use Git for version control and collaborate using Agile methodologies. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders. Gather requirements, provide technical support, and ensure effective client communication.Essential Skills: Programming: Proficiency in Python for data manipulation and automation. Big Data: Hands-on experience with Hadoop, HDFS, and data processing frameworks. Cloud Platforms: Knowledge of AWS and Azure for cloud-based data storage and processing. Databases: Strong skills in SQL and NoSQL databases, with experience in data modeling and warehousing. Monitoring Tools: Experience with AppDynamics, Splunk, Moogsoft, and related tools. Service Management: Familiarity with ServiceNow and Remedy for incident management. Version Control: Proficiency in Git and understanding of version control practices. DevOps: Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps concepts, and Agile development methodologies. Scripting: Ability to automate tasks using Bash and Python.Desirable Skills: Experience with Prometheus for monitoring and alerting. Knowledge of Enterprise Content Management (ECM), specifically Oracle 10g. Strong foundation in Unix/Linux basics and command-line operations. Understanding of AI concepts and their application in data engineering.Competencies: Technical: Expertise in Python, Big Data, Cloud Technologies, and DevOps. Analytical: Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
