The ideal candidate will have 10 to 12 years of experience and will work in a hybrid model with a day shift. This role does not require travel. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining geospatial applications that drive our company's success and positively impact society. Responsibilities: Lead the design and development of geospatial applications using Java, AWS, React JS, and Spring Boot Microservices Oversee the end-to-end implementation of geospatial solutions, ensuring high performance and scalability Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical specifications Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices to support geospatial functionalities Ensure the security and integrity of geospatial data through robust data management practices Conduct code reviews and implement best practices to maintain code quality and performance Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal user experience Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our geospatial solutions Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives Contribute to the documentation of system architecture, design decisions, and technical specifications Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and provide technical solutions that align with company goals Drive innovation by exploring new tools and technologies to enhance our geospatial capabilities Qualifications: Strong background in Java programming with extensive experience in developing scalable applications Hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS Proficiency in React JS for building interactive and responsive user interfaces Expertise in Spring Boot Microservices architecture for developing modular and maintainable applications Solid understanding of geospatial concepts and technologies, including GIS and mapping tools Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively Strong communication skills to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Proactive attitude towards learning and staying updated with emerging technologies Experience with agile development methodologies and practices Commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements Proven track record of successfully leading and mentoring technical teams Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Certifications Required (Must) : AWS Certified Solutions Architect Oracle Certified Professional Java SE Certified Spring Professional Location: Teaneck, NJ.
