This individual is responsible for producing functional requirements, software specifications, test plans, and documentation that guide technical teams in system development and implementation. The role involves analyzing data and processes, coordinating across teams, facilitating user engagement, and leading small teams of analysts when necessary. The ideal candidate brings a mix of technical acumen, strong communication skills, project management capability, and the ability to operate effectively in dynamic, high-pressure environments. Key Responsibilities: Define business solution recommendations and translate objectives into detailed requirements. Produce functional documentation: use cases, data mappings, data dictionaries, test plans, and UAT documents. Lead or support analysis teams through all stages of project development life cycle. Develop frameworks for problem-solving and create structured client documentation. Collaborate with technical teams throughout systems development (requirements gathering, design, testing, deployment). Conduct process analysis using tools like process flows, swim lanes, and use cases. Perform data analysis and define KPIs/metrics; assist in reporting tool development (Tableau, Cognos). Coordinate and document user testing using platforms like JIRA or HP ALM. Effectively communicate with stakeholders and present to senior leadership. Mentor junior analysts or business staff. Participate in disaster response and continuity of operations (COOP), when activated. Perform other related duties as assigned.
