Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, data science, and engineering to design and implement robust data solutions. Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Design, architect, and implement scalable and efficient data pipelines using AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, Docker, Fargate, ECS, Batch, and Step Functions. Utilize AWS CloudFormation for infrastructure as code to automate deployment processes. Lead the development and implementation of data models and data architecture to support business needs. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security standards are met across all data solutions. Utilize strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and PySpark to develop and optimize data processing workflows. Manage and maintain databases including Redshift, RDS Aurora Postgres, and DB2. Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate testing and deployment. Implement best practices for data management, ETL processes, and data warehousing. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in data engineering and AWS technologies. Identify areas for improvement and drive initiatives to enhance data infrastructure and processes. Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Lead/Principal Data Engineer in a similar role. Extensive experience with AWS services and tools related to data engineering, including Glue, Lambda, Docker, Fargate, ECS, Batch, Step Functions, and CloudFormation. Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and PySpark. In-depth knowledge of database systems such as Redshift, RDS Aurora Postgres, and DB2. Experience with CI/CD processes using Jenkins. Experience working with data science teams and cross-functional stakeholders. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
