Job Title: ATM Support Engineer / Middleware & API Tester Location: Birmingham, AL (Onsite) Job Type: Long Term Contract Year of Experience: 7+ years Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and proactive ATM Support Engineer with experience in hardware troubleshooting, middleware/API testing, and development tools. The ideal candidate will be proficient in network and Windows system troubleshooting and have hands-on experience with Java-based technologies, Jira-based project tracking, and modern containerization platforms such as Kubernetes and OpenShift. Key Responsibilities : Diagnose and troubleshoot ATM hardware and desktop system issues. Perform TCP/IP network troubleshooting including Telnet, IP configuration, etc. Configure and troubleshoot Windows 10 systems, including registry modifications, system settings, and command-line tasks. Create, execute, and manage test scripts for middleware and API testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Jira, Confluence, and BitBucket for test case management, bug reporting, and documentation. Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Java, JavaScript, Cucumber, and Maven. Utilize development tools such as Eclipse, IntelliJ, Visual Studio, and Postman for API and application testing. Work with containerization and orchestration tools including OpenShift and Kubernetes. Contribute to test summary reports and ensure thorough validation of system integration and performance. Required Skills & Experience: Strong knowledge of ATM hardware components and troubleshooting techniques. Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking principles and diagnostic tools. Expertise in Windows 10 OS, registry settings, and command-line operations. Experience with Jira, Confluence, and BitBucket for Agile-based QA and documentation. Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, Cucumber, and Maven. Familiarity with Eclipse, IntelliJ, Visual Studio, and API testing tools like Postman. Experience in middleware and API testing environments using OpenShift and Kubernetes. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
