Role SAP MFG-PI (Manufacturing - Process Integration) Consultant Location Vernon Hills, IL Duration : Long Term Contract Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled SAP MFG-PI (Manufacturing - Process Integration) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of SAP Manufacturing solutions and Process Integration (PI) tools, with experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP MFG-PI modules in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Implementation & Configuration: Configure and implement SAP MFG-PI modules in alignment with business requirements, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, PP, and WM. Process Integration (PI): Design, develop, and maintain integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems using SAP PI/PO (Process Integration/Process Orchestration). Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support to resolve issues in the SAP MFG-PI systems, including diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring system stability. Customization: Develop and enhance custom solutions, reports, and interfaces based on business needs in the manufacturing domain. Testing: Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the effective functionality of the MFG-PI solutions. Training & Documentation: Provide training to end-users and create comprehensive documentation for system configurations, interfaces, and troubleshooting procedures. Collaboration: Work closely with business users, IT teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and deliver the best solutions. Upgrades & Enhancements: Lead system upgrades and improvements, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations while optimizing the overall system performance. Skills & Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of [X] years of experience in SAP MFG-PI consulting with hands-on expertise in manufacturing processes and process integration. Technical Skills: Proficient in SAP PI/PO, SAP MFG (Manufacturing), SAP ECC, and SAP S/4HANA. Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes: Solid understanding of manufacturing business processes, including production planning, material management, and order execution. Integration Skills: Strong knowledge of integration scenarios between SAP and third-party applications, using technologies like XML, IDOC, SOAP, and RESTful APIs. Problem Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues. Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with technical teams and business stakeholders. Certifications: SAP MFG-PI certification (optional but preferred). Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A master's degree or SAP certifications in Manufacturing and Process Integration is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations. Familiarity with SAP Cloud Platform and other cloud-based solutions. Knowledge of other SAP modules like PP, MM, SD, or WM is advantageous.
