The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with IBM ACE/IIB development, ESQL, Java, and integration patterns, as well as expertise in web services, XML, JSON, and message-oriented middleware. This role requires a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work on complex integration projects, contributing to the seamless connection of applications and services across the enterprise. Key Responsibilities: App Connect Enterprise (ACE) Development: Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and IBM Integration Bus (IIB). Utilize ESQL, Java, and integration patterns to develop efficient and reliable messaging solutions. Develop and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable integration solutions for business applications. Web Services & Data Transformation: Work with web services (SOAP/REST) to build integrations between applications and services. Implement and manage XML and JSON data formats and transformations, ensuring seamless data exchange between systems. Apply data transformation techniques and best practices to facilitate efficient data movement and integration. Middleware & Messaging: Develop solutions using message-oriented middleware (MQ) and related technologies to ensure reliable message delivery and integration across systems. Monitor and manage message queues and queues for efficient message flow and processing. Collaboration & Teamwork: Work closely with cross-functional teams including architects, business analysts, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver integrated solutions. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices and standards. Competencies: Core Java: Strong knowledge of Core Java, used in integration and development tasks. Application Integration Architecture: In-depth understanding of application integration, message-oriented middleware, and system architecture. Essential Skills: IBM ACE/IIB Development: Proven experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) and IBM Integration Bus (IIB), including working with ESQL and Java. Web Services: Solid experience with SOAP and RESTful web services, including API design and integration. Data Formats & Transformation: Knowledge of XML, JSON, and related technologies used in data transformation and integration processes. Message-Oriented Middleware (MQ): Strong understanding of message-oriented middleware (MQ) technologies and their application in enterprise integrations. Desirable Skills: ODM - Operational Decision Center: Familiarity with IBM Operational Decision Manager (ODM) for business rules management and decision automation. TeamCity: Experience with TeamCity for Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices. Harness: Knowledge of Harness as a DevOps automation tool. Cloud Technologies (AWS): Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially AWS, for hosting and integrating cloud-based services and applications. Experience (Years): 6-8 years of experience as an App Connect Enterprise (ACE) Developer or similar integration development roles. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
