This role is responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing integration solutions that support business operations. The position combines hands-on technical expertise with team leadership duties, including mentoring less-experienced developers. The Integration Developer III will drive best practices, complex troubleshooting, and bring high-level expertise to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable integrations across the company. Key Responsibilities : Lead Technical Integrations : Develop and enhance complex integration solutions with a focus on scalability, resilience, and security. Mentorship and Training : Support and train other Integration team members, guiding them through technical challenges and sharing best practices. Standards and Documentation : Define and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) and integration standards for the team. Solution Development : Design and implement integration components, focusing on efficiency, maintainability, and security. Testing and Quality Assurance : Create test plans and scenarios to ensure robust solution delivery and validate integration scalability and resilience. Platform Maintenance : Perform administrative tasks on integration technologies, including upgrades and enhancements. Lifecycle Involvement : Participate in all phases of the development lifecycle, including analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support. Industry Awareness : Stay updated on current integration technologies and assess new tools or methods that could benefit the team. Incident Resolution : Diagnose and resolve issues related to integration performance, security, and deployment. Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with other technical teams to deliver cohesive, cross-functional solutions. Required Skills and Experience : Education : Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience : 5+ years of experience in integration development. Solid engineering experience with integration-focused development (e.g., REST APIs, SOAP). Familiarity with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud). Experience automating deployments and platform operations. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to create innovative integration solutions. Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Desired Skills : Experience with cloud-native services and tools such as GCP (Apigee), Azure, Kafka, GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps. Experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, RedHat. Familiarity with older versions of Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem. Familiarity with DB2, Postgres, Mongo, and J2EE. Experience with OpenTelemetry for observability. Experience with EDI for data exchange with customers. Additional Information : Background Check : Will be handled by the customer. This role will lead but will not manage people.
