ZAB knowledge is very important. Ability to support internally Accounting fundamentals Somone who can CONSULT Financial accounting concepts Need to know the Netsuite Building reports and dashboards They use Zone advanced billing Using Accounts Payable They have a bit of a gap, better to be filled by the functional consultant Need understanding the landscape Current gap: Revenue not recognizing properly What does different revenue look like Tech team would not know that level of detail Thats why need the understanding of functional standpoint Functional consultant who can help with gaps; Accounting finance bridge the gap Job Description: The Netsuite Functional Consultatnt serves as an expert to internal departments who utilize the platform in everyday business tasks. In this role, the functional consultant will utilize their expertise with Netsuite and Accounting to assist with translating requirements and technicalities associated with the platform, supporting internal customers, designing solutions for complex issues, and participating in projects. Effectively collaborate with internal teams on user experience, business process, and operations, and deliver solutions to increase the operational efficiencies and adoption Evaluate complex requirements and communicate security and performance risks to technical stakeholders. Manage support requests and escalated administrative needs by providing prompt solutions to technical challenges. Configuration of new and existing features and serving as a mentor to local Netsuite resources. Outline technical dependencies and invent creative scalable solutions. Ensure data consistency across the ecosystem and stay current with Netsuite releases, new features, and best practices. Ensure Netsuite ERP data integrity through audits, reviews, and reporting Assist with Netsuite integration and implementation projects Inform team members on product enhancements and document changes in accordance with governance processes Design and implement creative solutions to business problems by leveraging NetSuite functionality, customizations, and workflows Develop and Manage configuration changes to existing reports, fields, workflows, roles, permissions, forms, records, and searches Provide training and ongoing technical support to all NetSuite users Maintain configurations and customizations of NetSuite to meet evolving business needs Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NetSuite functionality, customization, and integration Develop, document, and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure data integrity, change protocols, customization, usage, etc. Design, implement, and maintain 3rd party software connections, integrations, and applications to NetSuite to support various business needs Experience and Skills Requirements: Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Minimum 3 years of experience implementing and configuring Netsuite as a functional consultant Strong understanding of ERP and financial business processes. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills Experience working in an iterative agile environment Required qualifications include: Strong work experience in Netsuite ARM module. Strong understanding/experience in functional areas like Revenue, Unbilled Receivables, Deferred Revenue, Billing, General Ledger, Balance Sheet, Chart of Accounts, etc. Experience building dashboards, suite analytics workbooks, and saved searches related to the following.
