In this role, you will provide support and maintenance for the Genetec application, ensuring the system runs efficiently and meets the operational needs of the business. You will work closely with various teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize application performance, and ensure smooth operation across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Application Support: Provide day-to-day support for the Genetec application, ensuring optimal performance and functionality. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Genetec platform, including system performance, configurations, and integration with other systems. Incident and Problem Management: Manage and resolve incidents, working to meet agreed service level agreements (SLAs). Collaborate with internal teams to identify root causes of recurring issues and implement long-term solutions. Application Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor Genetec application performance to ensure stability and reliability. Perform regular maintenance tasks such as patches, updates, and system health checks. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, business analysts, and infrastructure teams, to ensure smooth operation and integration of Genetec with other business applications. Provide end-user support, troubleshooting, and training for Genetec users. Documentation and Reporting: Document incidents, changes, and resolutions to maintain clear records for ongoing support and future troubleshooting. Assist in generating reports on application performance, incidents, and improvement efforts. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to ongoing improvements in the Genetec application by identifying areas for optimization. Stay updated with Genetec product updates and ensure the application evolves to meet business needs. Competencies: Application Migration: Experience in application migration or familiarity with migration techniques, ensuring seamless transitions and support during application upgrades or system migrations. Essential Skills: Genetec Application Support: Proven experience supporting and maintaining Genetec applications in an enterprise environment. Troubleshooting: Strong troubleshooting skills, particularly related to enterprise software systems and applications. System Monitoring and Maintenance: Proficient in monitoring system performance and implementing necessary updates and fixes. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including IT and business stakeholders. Documentation Skills: Ability to document incidents, resolutions, and application configurations accurately. Desirable Skills: Genetec Application Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Genetec systems, including access control, video surveillance, and related technologies. Application Support Experience: Previous experience providing application support for large-scale enterprise applications, particularly in security or surveillance systems. Experience (Years): 4-6 years of experience in application support, ideally with experience in enterprise systems like Genetec. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
