Monitor cluster performance and proactively resolve issues related to latency, throughput, and node health. Perform regular data backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and high availability. Implement and manage security policies, including authentication and authorization mechanisms in Cassandra environments. Conduct routine maintenance such as patching, upgrades, and performance tuning. Collaborate with application development teams to optimize data models, queries, and data access patterns. Plan and execute capacity planning and cluster expansion initiatives. Automate operational tasks using scripting or configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible). Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for production support, incident resolution, and root cause analysis. Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, operational procedures, and support processes.
