This role focuses on designing, installing, and supporting major subsystems across Parallel Sysplex environments. Key Responsibilities: Manage and support CICS and MQ subsystems on z/OS across multiple Sysplexes. Prototype and implement new features and technologies. Tune performance and balance workloads effectively. Maintain system security and support disaster recovery planning. Provide 24x7 on-call support (team rotation). Collaborate with application teams and vendors to resolve system issues. Requirements: Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. 7+ years of experience with z/OS systems engineering, including CICS and/or MQ. Familiarity with tools such as BMC Mainview, SMPE, ISPF, and IBM analyzers. Strong communication and documentation skills. Desired: Experience with DB2, CTG, REXX, and vendor management. Knowledge of banking systems is a plus.
