Title: Program Manager Location: Chicago, IL(Hybrid Model) Long term Contract position Visa: USC/GC MOI: Video Looking for Financial/Banking experience. Project Overview: This is a large program will focus on managing multiple work streams to delivery through SCRUM Sprints enhancements to the clients Public Cloud environment (Azure and AWS). Contractors Role: The project manager will lead the teams through project execution following a clear project plan, timely status reporting, issue/risk management, forecasting and budgeting and project execution mentoring for the technical teams engaged. The project manager must have experience with Azure DevOps Boards and be able to work collaboratively with the Scrum Master. The role will require the project manager to work with resources on capital planning (resource hours per month) and reconciliation. Qualifications: This person must have strong organizational skills, and the ability to communicate and manage tasks Technical experience with large enterprise projects Self-Starter, Motivated Facilitation strength Experienced in large, complex application projects with an infrastructure component. Strong Office proficiency: Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, Confluence, Word, etc. Strong organizational skills. Ability to drive plans forward, demonstrated leadership Strong communication skills. Financial services experience Azure DevOps Boards Nice to Haves: Experience with Cloud concepts and terminology Experience with tools like Service Now and Clarity Tasks & responsibilities: The Project Manager is responsible for leading a large project team to deliver the agreed upon goals, objectives and business benefits while controlling and monitoring the projects scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk. This role: Ensures that the project adheres to Project Standards, which incorporate PMI standards, I.T. controls, risk and regulatory requirements, and the clients policies and procedures, throughout the project. Is responsible for establishing and maintaining the project team assembled for the project with the right skill sets and experience in place to ensure the success of the project. Enables a no surprises project culture. Creates and maintains the project plan throughout the life of the project that reflects the work that needs to occur to support the delivery of the projects goals, objectives and business outcomes. Measures progress against the tasks, artifacts and milestones within the plan. Actively manage project risks and issues ensuring that the owners of those risks and issues are addressing them in a timely manner. Escalates in a timely manner to the appropriate party(ies) to address decisions needed, the removal of road blocks and other obstacles or constraints. Manages stakeholder expectations. Facilitates discussions across the various teams involved in the project. Establishes and executes against the projects communication plan. Communicates the status of the project and reflects the status across the scope, schedule, budget and resource perspectives. Articulates key risks and issues. Partners with stakeholders to plan for and manage project resources. Directs, manages and motivates the project team.
