Full SSN no. Required during submission. 3+ years of experience working with manufacturing systems, PLCs, Kepware, and automation equipment. Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, scripting (Python, Bash, Power), and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS). Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps). Knowledge of PostgreSQL, UNIX, and enterprise IT security principles. Strong troubleshooting skills across infrastructure, networks, databases, and browsers. Willingness to travel and work during plant downtime (weekends, holidays, second/third shifts). What's the Job Deploy and update software applications across GM manufacturing plants globally. Configure applications to meet plant-specific requirements. Perform plant floor testing and troubleshoot deployment issues (code/config/infrastructure). Collaborate with infrastructure teams to install and configure virtual servers in local data centers. Automate deployments using scripting and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions). Coordinate testing with other integrated manufacturing systems. Investigate and resolve IT/OT system integration issues. Maintain technical documentation for production deployments.
