Title : Backend Developer with decent Magento experience (with 8+ years of US experience). Visa : NO H1B/CPT/OPT Contract duration 4-6 months with possible extension. Fully remote PST work hours. Candidate Location- Ideally Seattle or Bay Area but anywhere within the US is okay but MUST work PST hours. 2- 3 rounds of interviews. Ideal start will be in February. Job details: Back-end developer needs to be really strong in the Magento platform. There's a library of "components"/ "modules" that have been custom built for the website, but we need a few more created or tweaked moving forward. They need some additional support from a developer to help with a handful of platform integrations that have been started, but not completed. They would work with the Creative Director and Art Director to build in a list of features and functionalities that is currently on a backlog. Will be working under client Creative and Art Directors. Front end dev will be working more on design, with the backend more on functionality and "plumbing" between "connectors" that the custom built between platforms. The client currently has a backlog of items that needs to be completed (they previously hired another agency to complete but they were not happy with their work, so they are now coming to us).
