1. NETSCOPE:
Policy Configuration and Management:
o Enhance skills in creating and configuring various DLP policies, including exclusions for domains, IP addresses, and custom URL lists.
API Data Protection:
o Gain more experience with API-driven data protection, particularly for services like Google Drive and Microsoft 365. This includes configuring DLP policies for data at rest and understanding both real-time and retrospective scanning for cloud applications.
Traffic Monitoring:
o Develop expertise in configuring HTTP and HTTPS traffic monitoring via NETSCOPEs secure web gateway to control and inspect web traffic.
Cloud Integration:
o Further explore NETSCOPEs integration capabilities with cloud services, including its ability to scan and protect data within cloud platforms via API-based scanning.
2. CyberArk:
Endpoint Protection Management (EPM):
o Broaden knowledge in configuring advanced EPM policies like privileged access control, least privilege, and application control.
Privilege Elevation:
o Focus on developing and managing privilege elevation policies, including creating whitelists, blacklists, and elevation strategies for specific applications.
Single Sign-On (SSO) Integration:
o Deepen understanding of SSO integration, especially using SAML 2.0, and learn how to integrate CyberArk with identity providers such as Okta and Azure for seamless login.
Agent Health and Policy Synchronization:
o Gain experience with configuring agent check-in intervals, understanding the agents health check process, and ensuring policy synchronization across CyberArk endpoints.
3. Python & Scripting:
Development Tools:
o Gain more hands-on experience with Python development tools like PyCharm and Visual Studio, focusing on setting up and managing isolated environments with virtualenv or venv.
Environment and Dependency Management:
o Improve proficiency in managing dependencies across isolated Python environments and learn how to use pip for package management effectively

Responsible for developing effective computing solutions to increase the security of their company's systems and projects. In charge of creating new ways to solve existing production security issues and must possess an advanced understanding of intrusion detection and prevention protocols, one of their main responsibilities is to handle technical problems dealing with applications and production equipment. These individuals possess exceptional incident-response skills and a high understanding of computer forensics. They assess current workflows to determine possible future issues. They work with other engineers and professionals to deploy new strategies to contain and mitigate production problems. Must have strong communication skills and be able to work efficiently in a team setting. They should have a strong knowledge of common computer languages and operating systems. Work on keeping logs and performing regular security checks to find new vulnerabilities. They develop automation scripts to handle and track incidents. Configure and set up firewalls and intrusion detection systems. Respond to network intrusions and be familiar with performing forensic investigations. Test new or upgraded hardware and software and implement new technologies. Create test plans that will allow for a proper evaluation of security issues for new hardware and software. Identify security solutions and implement a multi-layered defense to protect the networks.
