Location : REMOTE w/ travel Duration : Contract through 1/2027 Rate : Open About the role : The Digital Technology (DT) team is looking for an SAP GTS Architect to support the extension of the existing GTS (e4H) instance to multiple non-SAP ERP systems that are currently ITAR certified with active ITAR shipments. The focus of this extension will target the non-SAP ERP systems (Quantum, ShopTech, InforCom, Epicor, Baan) to use core GTS functionality. Currently, these non-SAP ERP systems either use home-grown or COTS compliance software to ensure compliance. Existing custom GTS functionality such as the automated AES solution (Seeburger interface) and FTZ (UPS interface) will not be included in this extension. As GTS is extended to these ITAR ERPs/sites, their current compliance systems and functionality will be decommissioned accordingly. REQUIREMENTS: 5+ years experience as an SAP Architect in an enterprise level environment Experience connecting GTS to connecting GTS to non-SAP ERPs like: (Quantum, ShopTech, InforCom, Epicor, Baan) 3+ years experience in designing solutions and roadmaps in the Global Trade area Experience with SAP GTS Compliance and Customs Management including sanctioned party lists (SPL), export legal regs, import legal regs, licensing, classifications, and tariff/commodity schemes Expertise in Global Trade Process in SAP GTS, SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA Knowledge/understanding of legacy ERP master data, sales & distribution, and supply chain processes Working knowledge of SAP GTS modules, including Compliance Management, Customs Management, and Risk Management PREFERRED SKILLS: SAP GTS Certification Co-lead the 2 contract functional analysts as well as the supporting DT GTS and ERP teams through the stages of the project. Give direction, recommend solutions, and assist with the overall design, delivery, and performance of the project. Facilitate the design, technical discussions and drive the decision-making process. Identify the tasks and people that are necessary to develop a design, build the plan, develop/build the solution and support execution of the plan. Partner with the DT project manager (PM) and the Global Trade organization to develop detailed project plan from pre-work through hyper care. Contribute to the landscape design with the Basis (or similar) and GTS teams Support the test lead and testing activities (test plan/test creation) to ensure that testing validates requirements. Partner with the internal GTS & SAP resources, Global Trade, and PM to develop & execute communication strategies for the project. Prepare and lead requirements workshops with Global Tade subject matter experts and DT counterparts. Partner with project Change Management resource and Global Trade to develop training and support for users adjusting to GTS. Develop and coordinate with the Basis team (or similar) a detailed cutover timeline (RSL) to allow for conversion downtime and all the required steps to bring up the new system and interfaces.
