Overview:
We are seeking a Mid-Level Storage Engineer / Administrator to support and manage our storage infrastructure with a strong focus on NetApp, Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO), and AWS. This role will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining storage solutions to ensure high availability, performance, and data protection across hybrid cloud environments. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with NetApp storage arrays, AWS cloud storage services, and storage automation tools.

Responsibilities:
Manage and administer NetApp storage systems (both on-prem and in the cloud), including ONTAP, Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO).
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize storage performance across hybrid cloud environments.
Deploy and configure AWS storage solutions such as S3, EBS, FSx for NetApp ONTAP, and Glacier.
Perform storage provisioning, upgrades, migrations, and capacity planning to ensure business continuity.
Implement and manage data protection strategies using backup, replication, and disaster recovery solutions.
Automate storage operations using scripting languages (Power, Python, or Ansible) for improved efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Cloud, DevOps, Security, and Network teams) to support enterprise storage needs.
Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements related to storage management.
Document configurations, processes, and best practices for storage operations.

Required Skills
36 years of experience in storage administration or engineering.
Hands-on experience with NetApp ONTAP and Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO).
Proficiency in AWS storage services (S3, EBS, FSx, Glacier).
Experience with storage networking protocols (NFS, SMB/CIFS, iSCSI, Fiber Channel).

Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with backup and recovery solutions (Commvault, Veeam, or similar tools).
Scripting experience (Power, Python, or Ansible) for storage automation.
Understanding of hybrid cloud storage architectures and data migration strategies.
Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
