The successful candidate will ensure data-at-rest encryption is fully deployed in accordance with enterprise security policies and audit requirements, while maintaining system performance and availability. Please Note: Parking is not provided for contractors at the downtown location. Key Responsibilities: Implement TDE across all non-Cardinal SQL Server databases to ensure encryption at rest. Configure and manage TDE settings, encryption keys, and certificates in alignment with organizational security policies. Maintain system uptime and performance during TDE implementation. Optimize database performance through tuning, monitoring, and best practice configurations. Enforce security measures including access controls, user authentication, and auditing. Investigate and remediate audit findings related to database security and operations. Support backup and recovery strategies and ensure data integrity. Maintain and update documentation to support compliance with audit and regulatory standards. Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams as needed.
