Position: Technical Architect (Matillion) Location: Dallas, TX (REMOTE) Summary: Seeking an experienced Technical Architect with a strong hands-on background in Terraform, AWS, and Snowflake to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures The ideal candidate should have expertise in Matillion, Kinesis, or Kafka, Java/Python, and experience working within regulated industries, such as Banking The Technical Architect will play a crucial role in shaping technical strategies, ensuring best practices, and mentoring teams Experience in Banking or Financial Services is preferred Matillion experience is preferred Responsibilities: Infrastructure as Code: Design and implement infrastructure using Terraform in an AWS environment Cloud & Data Solutions: Architect cloud-based solutions leveraging AWS, Snowflake, and Matillion Integration & Streaming: Work with Kinesis or Kafka for real-time data streaming and event-driven architectures Scripting & Automation: Develop automation scripts using Bash, Python, or Java to optimize workflows Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Ensure adherence to secure coding and deployment practices within regulated industries, like Banking Security & Compliance: Implement data encryption and secure API development strategies Collaboration & Mentoring: Work closely with cross-functional teams, share knowledge, and mentor team members in key technologies Performance Optimization: Enhance system performance, scalability, and reliability through best practices and hands-on engineering Qualifications: Hands-on Experience with: Matillion (ETL Development) Terraform (Infrastructure as Code) AWS (Compute, Storage, Networking) Snowflake (Data Warehousing & Analytics) Kinesis or Kafka (Streaming Architecture) Java or Python (Development & Scripting) Linux & Bash Scripting SDLC Knowledge (especially in Banking or other regulated industries) Preferred Qualifications: ETL & Data Management: Talend, Solix, Ataccama Databases: PostgreSQL, DocumentDB, DynamoDB, SQL Server, Athena CI/CD & DevOps: TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, Flyway Security & Networking: Data encryption, basic networking concepts Machine Learning Pipelines & Tools: Flask, SQLAlchemy, API development Enterprise Architecture: BizzDesign Other Qualifications: Strong communication and collaboration skills Self-motivated and able to work independently Willingness to mentor and teach others Ability to work effectively in a team environment Company Description: Paradigm Technology is a strategic Professional Services organization which primarily focuses on delivering high value solutions in Digital and Business Transformation.
