Role: Oracle DBA & PostgreSQL DB (L3) Location: Juno Beach, FL Onsite Type: Contract Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and experienced DBA with 12 to 16 years of experience in AWS Databases, PostgreSQL DB Administration, and Oracle. The candidate will work from our office during day shifts and will not be required to travel. The role involves managing and optimizing database systems to ensure seamless operations and contribute to the company's success. Required Skills: Oracle DBA PostgreSQL DB Administration on AWS/Cloud Linux OS hands-on Responsibilities: L3 Oracle and PostgreSQL database administration handling Create and Maintain RAC Database Environments. Expert level knowledge on Performance Tuning Do Performance tuning in OLAP environment Provide and Setup High Availability solutions. Architect level knowledge of Oracle database Server. Do Performance tuning. Provide and Setup High Availability solutions. Architect level knowledge of PostgreSQL database Server. Responsibilities: Manage and optimize AWS databases to ensure high availability and performance. Oversee PostgreSQL DB administration tasks including installation, configuration, and maintenance. Provide support for Oracle database systems, ensuring their reliability and efficiency. Implement database security measures to protect sensitive data. Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime. Develop and maintain database documentation and standards. Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions. Conduct regular database backups and recovery procedures. Ensure compliance with data governance and regulatory requirements. Perform database tuning and optimization to enhance system performance. Lead database migration projects and ensure successful implementation. Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members. Stay updated with the latest database technologies and best practices. Qualifications: Extensive experience in AWS databases, ensuring their optimal performance. Proficiency in PostgreSQL DB administration, handling all related tasks efficiently. Strong background in Oracle database systems, ensuring their reliability. Knowledge of database security measures to protect data. Expertise in monitoring and troubleshooting database performance issues. Experience in developing and maintaining database documentation. Effective collaboration with development teams for database solutions. Proficiency in conducting regular backups and recovery procedures. Compliance with data governance and regulatory standards.
