Monitor cluster performance and proactively address issues related to latency, throughput, and node health. Perform data backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability. Implement and manage security policies, authentication, and authorization in Cassandra environments. Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including patching, upgrades, and performance tuning. Collaborate with application development teams to optimize data models, queries, and data access patterns. Plan and execute capacity planning and cluster expansion as needed. Automate operational tasks using scripts or tools (e.g., Ansible, etc.). Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for production support, incident management, and root cause analysis.
