Sr. Software Engineer 6+ months Contract to Hire Pittsburgh, PA or Strongsville, OH or Birmingham, AL or Farmers Branch, TX HYBRID: 3 days office / 2 remote Years of Experience: 13+ years applicable experience required Industry background: Financial / Banking - should be in recent. Total 4-5 yrs experience of Finance industry will work. Roles and Responsibilities: Modify existing databases and database management systems. Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions. Work as part of a project team to coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations. Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project. Perform other duties as assigned. Must have technical skills (Min 8yrs of exp required in all of the below skills) 1. API experience 2. Java / Springboot 3. MySQL 4. Kafka 5. Fintech 6.
