Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time. Analyze the production and disaster recovery environments looking for inconsistencies. If differences are found, updates will need to be made. Install Connect:Direct on Linux, AIX & Windows DR servers. Add/update DR mainframe and distributed jobs to match their production equivalent. Research jobs/scripts and Connect:Direct configuration settings on mainframe, Linux, AIX & Windows environments. Attend and sometimes lead recurring project status meetings via conference call. Multi-task and work independently, while applying logic and discretion. Applies in-depth knowledge of application support and an understanding of best practices. Required Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Proven experience in file transfer or data integration roles. Strong knowledge of file transmission protocols, especially Connect:Direct (NDM). Understanding of network protocols, firewall configuration, and security concepts. Experience with IBM mainframe (TSO), Windows, and Linux environments.Ability to perform a broad range of tasks and project assignments concurrently through effective prioritization of work. Be self-motivated and self-managing, demonstrating sound judgement and effective decision making. Attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity and security. Preferred Qualifications: Banking or financial services experience. Good understanding of mainframe batch job processing. Experience with Connect:Direct Secure+ and/or Certificate Management.
