Job Description:

As a CCaaS Application Architect, youll be responsible for designing and engineering complex Contact Center applications for some of the world's largest companies. You will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) who understands the operational impacts of technology decisions and can effectively communicate their significance to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

This role involves managing project initiatives, addressing digital transformation goals, and ensuring business priorities align with technology implementations. You will work directly with clients and lead Eventus engineers to ensure solutions meet both client and Eventus quality standards. Additionally, you will have hands-on involvement in development efforts, tackling complex challenges alongside the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Define CXone, Genesys Cloud, or Amazon Connect application architectures, including networking, WFM, quality, AI tools, ACD, CRM integrations, and IVR.

Develop designs that support maintenance, scalability, and upgradability while enabling efficient execution by onshore and offshore engineers.

Provide work effort estimations to support planning and execution.

Oversee the implementation process, including code reviews, troubleshooting, requirements management, and integrations.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

10+ years of experience in Contact Center and UC environments.

5+ years of experience in software architecture and design using CXone, Genesys Cloud, or Amazon Connect. Previous titles may include Solutions Architect, Systems Architect, or Technical Architect.

Expertise in Enterprise ACD, CTI, and IVR, including management of system limitations (threads, memory, etc.).

Experience with API integrations, web services, authentication models, and synchronous/asynchronous designs.

Ability to review code, troubleshoot issues, and lead development efforts as needed.

Strong understanding of legacy/on-premises systems and their integration with CCaaS platforms.

Ability to create customized solutions to overcome system limitations or cost constraints.

Proven experience with on-premise to Cloud migration, including strategic planning and execution.

Expertise in enterprise migration for 1,000+ agent seats.

Strong written communication skills, including whiteboarding sessions, technical design reviews, and architectural documentation.

Hands-on experience with JavaScript, Python, Java, C++ (preferred but not required).

Network infrastructure experience (preferred).

Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD concepts, including configuration-as-code, source code management (GitHub), and automated pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, AWS CloudPipeline, etc.) (preferred).

Additional Responsibilities:

Develop CCaaS transformation plans, specifying changes needed for legacy systems.

Build custom tools and libraries to extend CCaaS vendor capabilities (customizations, configurations, testing, code reuse, etc.).

Create sales demos within Eventus lab environments.

Serve as the escalation point for client testing and troubleshooting.

Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) activities to resolve production issues.

Guide executive sales and delivery discussions, including creating presentation materials.

Contribute to project proposals, delivery timeline estimations, and RFP responses.

Lead Proof of Concept (POC) initiatives for both sales and project delivery
