The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must be proficient in the attributes identified below: COBOL and JCL are 100% required File handling, data sets (No DB2, just COBOL in mainframe), VSAM files MQ and MQFTE (MQ is currently being used) are nice to have. Do not need CI/CS. Has worked in supply chain is advantageous but not required for this one position. Team has multiple techs, UNIX Windows and Mainframe. Right now they already have two guys who are Windows/UNIX guys, no one for Mainframe. IBM MQ (formerly known as WebSphere MQ) and IBM MQ Managed File Transfer (MQFTE). These are both messaging and file transfer solutions used in enterprise environments. IBM MQ: A messaging middleware that allows applications to communicate and exchange data across different systems and platforms. It ensures reliable and secure message delivery. IBM MQ Managed File Transfer (MQFTE): An extension of IBM MQ that provides managed file transfer capabilities. It allows for the secure and reliable transfer of files between systems, leveraging the messaging infrastructure of IBM MQ.
