The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SQL, Python scripting, and ETL workflows, along with hands-on experience integrating Snowflake with third-party systems. A SnowPro Certification is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities: Administer and maintain the Snowflake data warehouse, ensuring high availability and optimal performance Define and enforce data security protocols, user roles, and access controls Design, build, and monitor ETL pipelines for consistent and reliable data ingestion and processing Develop Python scripts to automate routine tasks, streamline data workflows, and improve operational efficiency Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to implement robust integrations with external systems Write and optimize complex SQL queries and stored procedures for analytics and reporting Monitor system health, troubleshoot performance issues, and implement tuning strategies Stay updated on new Snowflake features and best practices, recommending architecture and workflow improvements Required Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in data engineering, platform administration, or related fields 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Snowflake Administrator Advanced SQL skills with a proven track record in data-heavy environments (8+ years) 4+ years of experience with ETL pipeline development and orchestration Strong Python scripting experience, particularly for automation and data processing (4+ years) Proven experience integrating Snowflake with external systems via APIs, cloud connectors, or third-party services SnowPro Certification is strongly preferred Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment Keywords: Senior Snowflake Administrator - Remote [email protected] https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=2343019 |
