The candidate will play a key role in developing and maintaining AS400-based applications, supporting operational activities, and collaborating with business and technical teams for integration and support.Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain AS400 programs using RPG, RPGLE, and CLLE. Create and update technical specifications, and end-user documentation for integrations and enhancements. Design and implement solution components based on business requirements. Collaborate with business process owners and SMEs to support development and enhancement activities. Interact with the operations team for requirement clarification and issue resolution. Support access requests and end-user queries related to AS400 applications. Perform batch job monitoring, identify job failures, analyze logs, and take corrective actions. Assist in application testing and support overall QA processes. Coordinate effectively with onsite and offshore teams for project deliverables.Essential Skills: Strong hands-on experience with RPG, RPGLE, and CLLE on the AS400/iSeries platform. Proficiency in SQL for query writing and database interactions. Experience in batch job monitoring, error resolution, and support processes. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex programming and technical issues. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.Desirable Skills: Familiarity with job scheduling tools, file transfers, and automated support scripts on AS400. Experience in requirements gathering, technical documentation, and user support.
