This role supports Microsoft SQL Server environments from 2012 to 2019 and requires participation in legacy SQL code modernization and new development efforts. Work Schedule: Onsite: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST Includes 1-hour lunch break After-hours availability required for planned activities and on-call support Must attend all assigned onsite project meetings Key Responsibilities: Administer physical data storage, maintenance, access, and security Perform backup, recovery, and parameter configuration on DBMS Design and prototype database structures and data dictionaries imize database access and allocate/re-allocate resources Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other stakeholders Maintain, rewrite, and enhance legacy SQL code Produce documentation and code reviews Required Skills: SQL Server Expertise: Installation, upgrade, and maintenance SQL Server Installation Center Extensive SQL scripting proficiency Database Languages: DML, DQL, DDL, DCL Tools & Services: SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) SQL Data Tools, SQL Reporting Services Azure Cloud Services, BLOB Storage Amazon Web Services (AWS) Data Modeling & Architecture: Logical, Physical, Relational Modeling ER Diagrams, Entities, Attributes, Cardinality Views, Triggers, Functions Security Standards: NIST, Microsoft Trust Center (Azure Compliance), internal policies Other Concepts: Normalization, Aggregation, Concurrency, Data Interchange (JSON) Soft Skills: Strong communication and documentation Analytical and problem-solving skills Organization and decision-making capabilities Experience with: Redgate SQL Monitor Advanced Query Tool (AQT) Quest Toad for DB2 Familiarity with: DB2 11.5 LUW (Windows) DB2 12.0 z/OS Oracle systems 57 years of experience in: Database design, testing, implementation, maintenance, and administration Minimum 5 years as a lead Microsoft SQL Server DBA Experience must align with required skills listed above Required: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field OR equivalent work experience supporting the skills listed In-person interviews preferred; "Live-Active Camera" video interviews for non-local candidates Professional references may be requested and verified 100% onsite Keywords: access management zos card Missouri SQL Server Database Administrator .
