Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Engineer Location: Denver, CO Contract The Sr. Software Quality Assurance Engineer will impact the organization by testing design and development, testing execution, testing automation of functional, integration, scale and performance test plans for 4G and 5G Core Network Functions in accordance with defined SQA practices, procedures and quality standards to ensure product meets quality standards. The Sr. Software Quality Assurance Engineer will work closely with our engineering leads, management, system/support engineers and customers in agile manner. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and execute system level, functional and non-functional, integration, regression, system, exploratory and performance/stability tests for 4G and 5G Core products. Develop and employ testing strategy and tools based on interactions with feature architects and software engineers, based on industry standards and customer requirements. Develop and run automated tests. Work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues that arise as quickly and efficiently as possible to prevent compromising quality and safety standards Carry out product and process auditing Monitor and report on quality-related key performance indicators Report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in order to adhere to process and prevent occurrence of any non-conformity relating to product, process or system Promote the use of customer preferred techniques for continuous improvement such as Six-Sigma and Measurement System Analysis Participate in cross-functional teams in the development of new products or changes related to current products in meeting customer requirements Report results of testing to other teams and help debugging as needed. Take ownership responsibility for product, including testing, documentation, and troubleshooting. Support customer demo and lab trial execution and integration with other teams as needed. Manage and operate internal and 3rd party simulation tools. QUALIFICATIONS: Undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science; MS degree preferred. Able to work in a fast-paced environment; previous start-up experience is a plus. Able to work with multiple teams including remote team in different time zones. Strong background in developing test specifications and test strategies. Self-starter, capable of working independently and building strong cross-functional relationships. Experience of working in Quality Assurance Experience with Software Automation scripting and/or programming expertise using Bash, Python. Experience in testing wireless core products - MME/SGW/PGW/ePDG/PCRF or 5GC AMF/SMF/UPF/NRF/NSSF/N3IWF a big plus. Experience and proficient understanding of 3GPP packet core domain - 4G EPC and/or 5G Core is preferred.
