We have an urgent opening with DB/PostgreSQL Developer and I have sent you job description, please go through it and let me know your comfort with it and also send me your updated resume ASAP Role: DB/PostgreSQL Developer Location: Whippany NJ(Hybrid) Duration: Contract What You Will Do: Analysis, design, coding, performance tuning, migration of data and implementation of database solutions using PostgreSQL Evaluation, maintenance, and enhancement of existing processes, stored procedures, and functions, load and performance tuning of existing procedures Data analysis, produce ad hoc queries and develop reports to support business needs Create documentation for applications and processes Daily triage of bugs and tasks Required Skills: 4-5+ years working as a database developer working with MySQL/SQL Server/PostgreSQL 1+ years working experience of PostgreSQL is a must Expertise in stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views. Ability to create normalized/de-normalized database schemas Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Knowledge of Devops and creating / promoting code through CI/CD pipeline Experience in AWS development like Lambda functions, Python and glue job Desired Skills: Experienced in the full System Development Life Cycle (Dev, Test, Prod) Should be experienced in executing migration projects.
