Job Description - Title: Oracle Database Administrator Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid, NEED LOCAL Duration: 6+ month Moi: Video state client experience is a must MUST LINKIDN This role requires hands-on experience in Oracle database performance tuning, data modeling, backup monitoring, and supporting multi-tier applications in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, highly technical, and capable of working collaboratively within Agile teams. Responsibilities: Provide operational and on-call support for Oracle databases across production, development, and UAT environments. Monitor and optimize database performance, troubleshoot locking issues, and resolve performance bottlenecks. Collaborate with the Data Warehouse team to support reporting features and data services. Design and maintain logical and physical data models for complex enterprise applications. Develop and maintain Oracle Stored Procedures, Functions, and necessary scripting for database operations. Support daily and weekly backup monitoring, and ensure database health through performance metrics and monitoring tools. Participate in Agile development processes (e.g., Scrum), and contribute to documentation and design discussions. Minimum Qualifications: 6+ years of experience in Oracle database design, performance tuning, and support. Proven experience with Oracle database structures, data analysis, and optimization. Strong understanding of enterprise application and/or service design. Experience with multi-tier architectures (SOA, Microservices, 3-Tier). Proficient in technical and functional documentation creation. Familiar with Agile methodologies (Scrum preferred). Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting data warehouse applications or advanced reporting environments. Exposure to Jira for Agile task and project management. Oracle Certification (OCA/OCP or similar) is a plus.
