Job Description - Senior Software Engineer (Python & AWS) Location : Boston, MA - Hybrid Role - We are targeting local candidates that can be in the Boston office 3 days per week. 12 Month + contract (or contract to hire, if desired) We are targeting a mid or senior level software engineer who can get requirements from the business, architect the solution within AWS, deploy to production using Terraform and CloudFormation and then develop code in Python to run within that environment. Requirements: Senior or Technical Lead level development experience Several years of coding experience in Python. Experience working in an AWS Tech Stack (Terraform, CloudFormation, Lambda, ECS, Aurora, etc.) Some experience with C# is ideal, but not required. Experience building REST APIs Experience with CI/CD and Test Driven Development Experience building API's and services for data access and integration purposes. Prior experience working with Amazon Web Services is required. Prior UI experience with React or Node is a plus. Prior experience with the Snowflake Data Platform is a plus. must be local to Boston and they must have Asset Management Industry experience.
