MUST HAVE: Sr Power Platform Engineer (Senior Software Development Analyst - Private Wealth Management) Automation Engineer to be part of the team enabling the journey of architecture, development security, operations, integration, migration, and managed services. As a Automation Engineer, you will architect, build, and deploy BI/ Automation solutions for highly complex distributed software systems in Microsoft Azure. Training team members on the technologies and share knowledge on best practices. Documenting the design and processes after development. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Design, modify, test, implement and maintain firm software applications. Serve as a key contributor in the full software development lifecycle. Ensure software development activities comply with firm standards and procedures. Plan, coordinate and execute software development projects. Communicate project status and issues that may impede project success to management. Participate in software design meetings. Synthesize user business requirements and create detailed technical specifications based on conceptual application design. Lead the testing of new or modified application software. Analyze testing results and software code to determine root causes of bugs or errors and resolve issues. Resolve technical issues, collaborating with other IT professionals and vendors as necessary. Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance software lifecycle activities to ensure application design and maintenance tasks are effective, efficient and integrated with necessary architecture and security protocols. Develop tools and training aids for application users. Develop and maintain complete application documentation, including conceptual and detailed designs, test cases, production implementation plans, and maintenance reports. Collaborate with IT infrastructure staff to plan, test and document application specific business continuity and disaster recovery plans. Provide guidance to less experienced team members. Monitor industry trends that may impact software development solutions. Identify and evaluate new technologies for implementation. Ensure all activities are in compliance with applicable rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Additional responsibilities as requested. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or related subject matter required 15 years of experience in software development required, preferably in a financial services environment Hands on experience in implementing Microsoft BI/Azure BI solutions like Power Apps, Power Flows (Automate), Power BI, Azure Analysis Services,. Strong knowledge on Power BI Data Flows, Power BI Data Sets, Data verse Experience with SQL Server, SSIS, Power scripting and other technologies Financial Services experience preferred Strong project management and prioritization skills Ability to collaborate across multiple functions Attention to detail and quality Detailed knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent problem resolution skills Technical Skills: Power Apps, Power Automate, Desktop RPA, Power BI, Power BI Data Flows & Power BI Data Sets.
