Requirement details: Title : Business Analyst with Margin & Securities Lending exp Location : REMOTE Duration : Contract Technical Skills & Knowledge: Primary Skills: BA with Margin Lending/ Securities Lending Responsibilities: Participate in credit structuring and underwriting of Margin Loan credit facilities for the North America region. Underwriting will focus principally on securities backed margin facilities (ML) and Standby Letters of Credit (SBLCs), with exposure to also underwriting Pre-Settlement Exposure (PSE) limits for derivatives and foreign exchange trading. Assume and build on an existing portfolio of existing credit relationships working closely with ML Transactors and Bankers. Assist in the analysis of portfolio metrics, trends and KPIs (Key portfolio metrics), including deal pipeline, Specialists metrics, deal volume and trends. Prepare and complete periodic reviews of existing assigned credit relationships, weighing risk vs returns and advocating as appropriate for renewal Collateral Monitoring coordinate resolution of any margin calls. Major Job Responsibilities: Coordinate closely with ML Transactors to initiate and underwrite new ML (liquid/diversified collateral) credit transactions. Manage the Private Banker teams expectations, set workflow schedules and priorities to ensure timely completion of credit transactions within standard turnaround time-frames. Conduct proper due diligence, follow standard underwriting guidelines within the framework of CPB Risk Core Credit Policies and procedures and the Global Capital Markets and ML product program (including KYC review, risk rating and collateral analysis, etc.) and complete the approval process on a timely basis. Prepare standard ML loan documentation and arrange with the banker teams to have loan documents executed on a timely basis. Ensure portfolio management including annual reviews are completed on schedule with minimal extensions/deferrals. Coach and advise banker teams on basic credit policies, procedures and structure. Partner effectively with internal Risk, Legal, and product groups to ensure seamless credit approval and deal closing. Comply with all Fair Lending and other federal banking regulations, including proper notification standards and disclosure rules under ECOA/Regulation B. Knowledge/Skills Required: Familiar with marketable securities back lending (ML). Familiar with Federal Banking Regulations, including Fair Lending regulations (ECOA, Reg O, Reg U, Reg W, etc.) Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced, high volume environment. Good working knowledge of systems/MIS such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
