ABOUT THE ROLE - The State Corporation Commission is looking for an experienced Applications DBA to support our Oracle Financial/HR System (eSCC) running in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environment. - The candidate needs to provide daily production and development support for the eSCC applications team. - The position will also require applying the latest Oracle Critical Security patches. - The candidate will also need to provide daily support of the Power BI reporting tool. Responsibilities Include: - Report to Database Manager - Monitor production and development apps and databases - Apply Oracle EBusiness application and security patches - Respond to development assistance requests - Provide after-hours application support as needed. *The after-hours phrase does not refer to being on-call.
