Skills Requirement 10+ years experience in working in IT services organization. At least 8+ years of Oracle Database experience Knowledge, Understand the ITIl process. In client facing role(s) for at least 3 years. Excellent Documentations skills in MS SharePoint 2010 /2013 Mandatory skills Oracle administration required skills. Performance tuning on oracle databases. Oracle DBA with experience in large and critical environments. Exceptional Knowledge of performance tuning at both server level and query level. Candidate must have knowledge of OEM, AWR Reports, TKProf. Good Knowledge of Oracle internals. Good Knowledge of Oracle partitioning. Must have automation experience. Good knowledge of scripting. Ability to write PL-Sql scripts, . Firsthand experience RAC. Good to have skills Experience with Golden Gate Experience with OUD, Database Vault and Database Encryption in transit and rest Certifications Desired Oracle certifications High Level Role Responsibilities and Interpersonal skills needed for this role Ability to think about a problem, identify what we have and implement solutions to solve the problem independently. Work with onsite client team / Application owners in US / UK to Tune oracle databases. Need to be able to work with application groups and independent of database group. Proactively tune databases. Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to think in and out of the box. Produce service improvement ideas and innovative solutions. Initiative-taking, conscientious individual who works equally well independently or as a member of a team. Must be willing to take responsibility and ownership of work. Enable and support the team in resolving day-to-day production issues. Work on Change implementations during UK, US business hours & weekends as per change management process Documentation & Operational performance reporting Own Service Improvements Execute on demand IT projects.
