Requirements: 7+ years of experience working as Sr. HBase/Hadoop Engineer 5+ years of hands on Cloudera configuration and administration specifically with Cloudera Manager Hands on experience configuring changes within Cloudera using the command-line interface for deployment Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting Kafka Experience providing operational support in a Big Data environment as well as multiple environments such as QA/Development Experience with DevOps for configuration Plusses: Ability to operate within BitLocker PostgreSQL/Data modeling experience Jenkins experience Day-to-Day: This team is responsible for maintaining multiple big-data platforms that process automotive data that is then used to help customers maximize profitability through data-driven insights. This resource must be a subject matter expert in administering and configuring Cloudera while also providing operational support in a big data environment.
