Job Title: SAP GTS Project Manager Duration: 6+ months Location: Onsite - Santa Clara, CA Must Have Skills Skill 1 8-10 years of experience in managing SAP implementation/ upgrade projects including 2-3 full life cycle implementations Skill 2 Experience in adopting PMI or advanced project methodologies in SAP projects, preferable in GTS implementation Skill 3 Requires a technical background with SAP GTS implementation or migration experience to complete its overall project management responsibility Skill 4 Manages the SAP GTS migration project including but not limited Good To have Skills Skill 1 Familiarity with Global Trade, Sales and Logistics business processes would be a plus Mandatory if Applicable Domain Experience (If any) SAP GTS Project Manager Must have Certifications NA Prior UST experience NA Location Santa Clara, CA Onsite Requirement Yes Number of days onsite 5 Days Description: Senior IT Program Management Key Responsibilities: Manages the SAP GTS migration project including but not limited to the following activities: Defines the project charter, develops governance structure, prepares detailed project plan, monitors the program/project from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules and monitoring budget/spending. Conduct scoping, planning and design workshop engaging business & cross functional teams Organizes cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of the project on schedule and within budget constraints. This role is most common in a matrix type organization Requires a technical background with SAP GTS implementation or migration experience to complete its overall project management responsibility Ability to conduct meeting with executive leadership team during different phases of the project Defines direction, adaption to change requirements while conquering obstacles, as well as managing business organization plans and knowing where to shift. Education and Experience 8-10 years of experience in managing SAP implementation/ upgrade projects including 2-3 full life cycle implementations Bachelors degree with certification Project Management professional Experience in adopting PMI or advanced project methodologies in SAP projects, preferable in GTS implementation Experience in managing scoping, design, build, test and production cutover phases of projects Excellent communication skills to articulate & present periodic project status, highlighting the issues & risks and action plans Familiarity with Global Trade, Sales and Logistics business processes would be a plus Strong English verbal and written skills Strong organizational skills and eagerness to drive deliverables to closure Self-starter and proactive, including managing deliverables, able to work independently, understanding timelines and deadlines with minimal guidance Please send the resume, a copy of the candidate's work authorization, and their LinkedIn URL to [email protected].
