This role requires deep technical knowledge of the ServiceNow ecosystem, strong architectural acumen, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with business and technical teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing platform architecture, solution design, integration, governance, and continuous improvement efforts. You will lead technical teams, ensure compliance with enterprise standards, and act as a key contributor to the organizations digital transformation strategy.Key Responsibilities:Platform Architecture & Solution Design Architect and implement scalable, secure, and robust solutions on the ServiceNow platform in alignment with business goals. Collaborate with business stakeholders and partners to gather requirements, analyze processes, and deliver efficient ServiceNow-based solutions. Lead platform strategy, ensuring optimal use of native capabilities while identifying opportunities for customization where appropriate.Development & Integration Lead custom development of applications, workflows, and modules on the ServiceNow platform. Design and implement secure, high-performance integrations with other enterprise platforms using web services and APIs (REST/SOAP). Drive automation and standardization across modules, improving efficiency and maintainability.Technical Leadership & Governance Provide hands-on technical leadership and mentorship to ServiceNow developers and support staff. Enforce architectural standards, coding guidelines, and security best practices across ServiceNow implementations. Maintain governance and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.Performance Optimization Ensure scalability and performance of the ServiceNow platform, conducting system tuning and issue resolution where needed. Monitor and optimize user experience across interfaces and workflows.Documentation, Enablement & Support Create and maintain detailed technical documentation including architectural diagrams, specifications, and support manuals. Conduct training sessions for internal teams and end-users to promote platform adoption and best practices.Continuous Improvement & Innovation Stay current with new features, capabilities, and innovations in the ServiceNow ecosystem. Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement, automation, and technical innovation within the platform.Qualifications: 10+ years of overall experience in IT with 5+ years of dedicated experience in ServiceNow architecture and development. Proven track record of designing and implementing complex ServiceNow solutions, including ITSM, ITAM, CMDB, and custom applications. Solid understanding of web technologies including XML, HTML, JavaScript, and web services (REST, SOAP). Experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems using standard interfaces and protocols. Proficiency in SDLC methodologies and Agile project delivery. Strong understanding of platform governance, security, and compliance standards. Minimum of two valid ServiceNow certifications, such as: Certified System Administrator (CSA) Certified Application Developer (CAD) Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in any core module (e.g., ITSM, ITAM)Desirable Skills: Exposure to additional ServiceNow modules such as HRSD, SecOps, CSM, or GRC is a strong plus. Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics, Flow Designer, or IntegrationHub. Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNow.
