Job Summary Responsible for designing automated tests to validate the functionality of applications. This position is responsible for creating the initial test designs, creating comprehensive test strategies, writing the scripts, installing the automation testing protocols, and reporting the results. This includes contributing to and developing automation testing frameworks and tools. The QA automation engineer improves the team's quality assurance tools and processes. This entails defining the scope of testing within the context of each release, managing the appropriate testing process, and implementing testing metrics to be applied to each product. Job Responsibilities: Designs, writes, installs, and executes automation scripts. Manages tools required to build a strong testing framework Contributes to and develops automation testing frameworks and tools. Coordinates with the IT teams to review the testing strategy and estimate the automation effort. Troubleshoots automation software issues. Job Requirements: HS Diploma, GED or Foreign Equivalent SQL highly desired 7 years of experience in quality analysis or another analytic role. 4 years of experience in automated testing required. 3 years of experience with software development methodologies (i.e. Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.) and software process improvement methods. Bachelors degree plus 7 years of QA experience including 4 years of automated testing experience required.
