Position GitHub Administrator Location Phoenix, AZ(Onsite) Duration Long-Term Contract Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain GitHub Actions, including self-hosted runners, autoscaling, secure execution environments, and reusable workflows. Develop and administer GitHub Apps and enterprise-standard GitHub workflows. Maintain and optimize Kubernetes clusters using tools like kubectl, Rancher, and Helm. Design, monitor, and manage Kubernetes cluster layouts, resources, and storage. Work with GitHub Advanced Security tooling (GHAS) to ensure secure code and development environments. Automate CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and other DevOps tools. Collaborate with development teams to integrate GitHub workflows with enterprise SDLC and DevSecOps practices. Participate in GHES upgrade planning, disaster recovery, and internal service optimization. Script automation tasks using Python, Java, or similar programming languages. Integrate with GitHub REST/GraphQL APIs, GitHub CLI, Terraform, and Ansible for infrastructure and workflow automation. Required Skills & Experience: 6+ years of experience with GitHub Enterprise Server administration. Proficiency in build and deployment pipelines for Java, NodeJS, Python; familiarity with .NET and Go is a plus. Strong understanding of GitHub Actions, self-hosted runners, and reusable workflows at the enterprise level. Proven experience creating and managing GitHub Apps. Proficiency in scripting and API integration (GitHub REST/GraphQL APIs). In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes administration and infrastructure monitoring. Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins. Strong grasp of DevOps and DevSecOps methodologies. Experience with GHES upgrades, replication, and disaster recovery. Knowledge of GitHub Advanced Security (GHAS). Cloud experience with GitHub Cloud, GCP, or similar platforms.
