The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, data visualization, and cloud platforms, alongside domain experience in procurement systems and reporting.Key Responsibilities: Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights related to procurement operations. Lead predictive modeling, machine learning, and deep learning initiatives to optimize procurement strategies and identify cost-saving opportunities. Develop and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data cleansing/transformation routines. Build and deploy dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to present insights to leadership and stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business and IT) to translate business questions into analytical solutions. Strategically identify new data sources and opportunities to enhance the procurement intelligence ecosystem. Guide data strategy, quality assurance, and governance practices across public procurement datasets.Required Experience: 7+ years of experience in the following areas: Statistics and probability Database management Machine learning and deep learning Predictive analytics Data cleansing and transformation Data visualization and reporting Statistical modeling Cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) Interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration Public sector procurement systems and dataTools & Technologies: Languages & Scripting: Python, SQL, PySpark, Scripting, Power Visualization: Tableau (Desktop & Server), Power BI, Looker, Jupyter Notebooks Big Data: Apache Spark, Hive, HDFS, MapReduce, Azure Data Lake Cloud Platforms: AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Redshift, Lambda, Athena, Kinesis, CloudWatch, etc.) Databases: Snowflake, Redshift, Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL Frameworks & Utilities: Git, GitHub, XML, JSON, SQL Workbench, SSH toolsIdeal Candidate Profile: Strong understanding of procurement workflows, KPIs, and data.
